Instructions Working with the ARC

 BSA and ARC have signed a Memorandum of understanding.  All Councils and units (Troops and Packs) without an agreement, need to sign a new Authorized Provider or Full Service agreement to participate. Please call the Training Support Center at REDCROSS, option training and certifications – option for classes and certifications- option for group training.  Current Authorized Providers will be notified by mail of a pricing change.  Current Authorized Providers will receive local Sales Representative contact information  Agreements are signed on the Council, Troop or Pack Level. High Adventure councils are covered by BSA National Agreement. Instructions

Existing Boy Scout Agreements

Councils, Troops and Pack Existing training agreements between the Red Cross and individual Councils, Troops and Packs will continue in accordance with their individual terms until they are renewed. Pricing will change with 30 days notice. Existing agreements will expire based on their individual terms. Rates can not be renegotiated by the individual Councils, Troops or Packs or by sales rep. Training Delivery Options

Training Options Authorized Provider TrainingCouncil, Troop or Pack enters into an agreement with the Red Cross to conduct its own training; requires a Red Cross certified instructor; train as few or as many as is needed; least expensive Full Service TrainingRed Cross conducts class at BSA location or other location and provides all equipment and a certified instructor. Updating Existing Expired Agreements

Process for BSA to Update Existing Expired AP and FS Service Agreements  Contact the Sales Rep for your Council, Troop or Pack or Please call the Training Support Center at REDCROSS, option training and certifications – option for classes and certifications- option for group training.  Review and sign the new agreement.  If not already doing so, use the Training Support Center (TSC) as the primary point of contact for AP instructor support and record processing, 15
