Buddha Buddha always knew peace was the most important thing and he will always know. Buddhists know all teachings of Buddha because he wrote them, back in the ancient time in the tripitaka. He wrote the path to find peace, happiness, and love. Buddhists follow this path becase they want to be just like Buddha the kind of people that care for other people and share what they have. Buddha´s statues are made of gold to show his importance.

Lotus flowers grow in mud and rise into sunlight above water. Buddhists believe that people can rise into englightment by following the eight fold path and other teachings of Buddha.

Some buddhists join the community of monks and nuns called the sangha. They devote their livesto the understanding of Buddha ´s teachings and explaining them to others. In order to join the sangha, Buddhists take part in a ceremony called ordination. They promise to observe a set of rules that affect everything they do. Buddhist monks and nuns live simple lives They wear plain robes, shave their heads, study about Buddhism, and meditate. Buddhist monks and nuns meditate near statues of Buddha.

The End With everything you learned today you can be a Buddhist monk or nun!
