WELCOME TO THE HEALTHCARE UPDATE FOR APRIL 2006

The ELA dental health services continued in Hephzibah. Both orphans and staff of the Hephzibah were satisfied with the Healthcare’s professional services.

Judy, a 2 year old little girl with encephalopathy in Hephzibah, was brought to HSC for her soft tissue abscess last month. After treatment, she has fully recovered and returned back to home.

The HSC’ s doctors visited the orphanages regularly for checking up so as to diagnose and treat the orphans in time.

Mr. Bob was teaching staff English in HSC.

Mr. Song, whose left hand hurt seriously by an accident in his work place, was satisfied with our doctor’s free medical care.

These lovely children with cleft lip in Hephzibah are waiting for being healed in the near future.

Ms. Mary was teaching the carers how to do the infant massage. Look, How they enjoy the lessons!

Ms. Mary was showing the young mother from community how to do the massage for her baby in HSC.

Anna was suffering the serious disease of brain damage in Heph. Dr. Chris was kindly caring and comforting her.

This family was so happy for their new baby. Two experts also joined the celebration, meanwhile gave the young parents some professional advices.

On April 19 in HSC office, two volunteers were teaching our staff the basic hygiene lesson.

Dr. Chris and Mary are going to leave us for their hometown by the end of April, We all appreciate them for their precious support and help.

The PowerPoint presentation training began in April 21 in HSC. The staff was very interesting in this training and enjoying doing their own presentation.

This 3 year old boy has Mumps and is being observed in HSC. He is soon to be adopted by a foreign family.

Current needs: –More financial support so that we can help more patients of Xi’an communities. –HSC needs an overseas full-time doctor or equivalent cover from part-time doctors, ( family practice physicians or pediatricians).

Current needs: –We need a permanent International Communications Officer to liaise with overseas teams, visitors, and others doing Healthcare work.
