ST. PAUL AME’S FOOD KITCHEN

HISTORY The Food Kitchen has been in existence for 30+ years in the city of Wichita

IT IS A 501C3 NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION

RESOURCES The Food is obtained through the Wichita Kansas Food Bank and Topeka Kansas Food Bank Donations for silverware, napkins and other eating utensils come from community members and organizations

Nothing is required for the homeless and less fortunate to come and eat besides having a willing heart to accept what is provided

SERVICE The food kitchen sees people every Friday except for Holidays

VOLUNTEERS A Food handlers card is required for the food kitchen Food is prepped on Thursday by staff and served on Friday None of the staff is paid it is all volunteer hours

In the Past the food kitchen has provided clothing, but has been unable to staff enough volunteers recently
