Slide 2 Agenda Draft-LISP-06 Draft-LISP+ALT-03 Draft-LISP-Interworking-01

Slide 3 draft-ietf-lisp-06.txt Changes from 05 –Use stronger language to have the outer IPv4 header set DF=1 so we can avoid fragment reassembly in an ETR or PETR. This will also make IPv4 and IPv6 encapsulation have consistent behavior. – Map-Requests should not be sent in ECM with the Probe bit is set. These type of Map-Requests are used as RLOC-probes and are sent directly to locator addresses in the underlying network. –Add text in section about returning all EID-prefixes in a Map-Reply sent by an ETR when there are overlapping EID- prefixes configure. –Add text in a new subsection of section about dealing with Map-Replies with coarse EID-prefixes. Routing-Directorate review – response pending

Slide 4 draft-ietf-lisp+alt-03 Changes from 02 –Explicit handling of ‘holes’ in aggregation Intermediate nodes who aggregate across holes must send negative map-replies –Further Deprecation of Data-Probes More reliance on map-server/map-resolvers –Extensive clarifications and edits to language Routing-Directorate Review –Comments received and incorporated

Slide 5 draft-ietf-lisp-interworking-01 Substantive changes from -00 –Proxy ETR Introduced Allows ITR to hop over address family or uRPF on upstream network –Extensive clarifications and edits to language Not completed in time for cut-off –Will post directly after IETF
