How did the lemon shark get its name? The lemon shark got its name because of its yellow shade of skin on the top of its body. That is how the lemon shark got its name.

How many feet long is the lemon shark? The lemon shark is eight feet in length of its body. In other words, length means how big something or someone is.

Do lemon sharks swim in lakes too? No, they do not swim in lakes. Lemon sharks swim in subtropical water and tropical parts of South America.

Where is the lemon shark found? The lemon shark is found in subtropical water of the Atlantic and some tropical parts of North and South America.

What color is the Lemon Shark’s underbelly? The color of the lemon shark’s underbelly is of course white. All of the kinds of sharks’ underbellies are white. This is to help camouflage if someone is swimming beneath them.
