Background We have started the project “Analysis of Sago Palm Properties in Fiji” at Fiji is the advanced country in the south pacific area. We need ecological information of Sago Palm habitant. Fiji environment is changing because of economical development.

Where is Fiji?

Geographical Properties of Fiji Located near the equator and the date line (S 12°~ 15 °, E 176 °~ W 178 °) Southeast part of the Viti Levu Island is tropical region (Rainfall is over 3000mm/year at Suva) Northwest part of the Island is like savanna region (Rainfall is under 2000mm/year at Nadi)

Nadi’s weather data (Northwest part of Viti Levu Island) Suva’s weather data (Southeast part of Viti Levu Island) These data are from World Meteorological Organization
