 Every day we should consume ◦ 6 servings of grain (bread, rice, pasta) ◦ 3 vegetables (broccoli, carrots, corn) ◦ 2 fruits (apple, banana) ◦ 3 dairy items (milk, cheese, yogurt) ◦ 2 protein items (meat, poultry, nuts, fish, beans) ◦ Make sure to limit the intake of sweets, oils, and fats. ◦ Don’t forget the 8 glasses of water!

 Cardio (running, cycling, swimming)  Weight lifting  Team sports (football, basketball, soccer, etc.)  Group exercise (Zumba, Aerobics, , Boot camp)  And best of all ◦ DANCE!

 Gets your heart rate up  Improves flexibility  Better balance  Memorizing dance moves improves memory  It’s fun and there’s a style for everyone!

 Cardio strengthens your heart  Build stamina  Tone your body  Doing something fun and enjoyable makes you happier
