Adjective Phrase PPrepositional phrase that modifies a noun or pronoun TTells what kind, which one, how many, or how much Adjective: Icy chunks fell from the skyscraper. Adjective Phrase: Chunks of ice fell from the skyscraper. Examples People throughout the world have visited the Empire State Building. That painting of sunflowers by Van Gough is famous.
