Visit Priorities Highlight the CTE programs in your community—link individual disciplines to the CTE umbrella Make sure Members know that local CTE programs are supported by Perkins Ask that your Member work to increase funding for the Perkins CTE Act to at least the pre-sequestration level of $1.123 billion in Fiscal Year 2016 Discuss the connections between CTE and the reauthorizations of ESEA and HEA Reference the importance of the Perkins CTE Act reauthorization and key priorities Invite your Member to tour your program or school Ask your Member to join the House or Senate Congressional CTE Caucus if they are not already a member
