 I can analyze primary and secondary sources to create an argument about whether the French Revolution was a success or not.

 American Revolution: o Causes o Declaration of Independence Who wrote it, inspired it, Enlightenment ideas, etc.  French Revolution o Systems in France before the rev. o Causes o Hatred of Louis and Marie Antoinette o Major events of the Rev. Order of events also o Reign of Terror Leader, guillotine, etc. o Napoleon Benefits and downfalls

 We’ve covered the major events of the French Revolution!  Now we need to analyze whether the Revolution was a success or not!

 What were the Revolution’s original goals?  What did the National Assembly first demand?  Constitutional Monarchy, Equality, and justice.  Wanted a Constitution and they created the Declaration of Rights of Man
