Wiggly Worms Introduction Task Process Evaluation Conclusion Extra Fun

What do you know about earthworms? Do know that earthworms are our friends? You will complete this webquest to learn more about earthworms and become a “Wormologist.” Our “Wormologists” will then work together to build a home for our worms in the classroom. Introduction

Task Your Job: Learn about earthworms: read and learn about the different body parts of a worm, where worms live, what they eat and other fun facts. Label the parts of an earthworm Find four interesting facts about earthworms that you want to share with a friend and write them on your paper. Share your fun facts with your partner and make an action plan together of materials needed to build a habitat for our earthworms.

Process 1.Learn about earthworms by clicking through the anatomy of a worm. At the bottom of each page, there is a link to send you to the next page.the anatomy 2.Take the quiz to label the parts of a worm.parts of a worm 3.Print out the Interesting Facts Web.Interesting Facts Web 4.Find and write four interesting facts found about earthworms on your web. Make sure to do your best handwriting and spelling. Your facts should be in complete sentences. 5.Share your interesting facts with your partner. 6.Print out Action Plan for Making an Indoor Habitat for a WormAction Plan 7.With your partner, begin to discuss materials needed to make the habitat for the worms. Begin listing materials needed on your chart.

Conclusion Congratulations! You are now a certified “Wormologist.” We are now ready to build an indoor habitat for our earthworms and share all of our fun facts with our family and friends.
