Easy Stationery Labelling A guide to labelling your Year 6 stationery

Labelling Books By putting small subject labels in the corners of the front cover, you are able to find the book you’re looking for without having to get everything out of the tidy tray. The placement of the label depends on which way the books are stacked in the tidy tray. Make sure your name is at the TOP of each book. Preferably in the top right corner. Ensure it is clearly visible.

Labelling Books A4 Books: -Christian Studies / Health -English: Writing -English: Reading Groups/Spelling -Science -Geography -History -Homework x2 -French -Maths x2 (Graph books) Playbook: -Music Please ensure that every lined page is ruled with a margin.

Labelling Stationery Label all stationery with your name on paper stuck down with tape or name stickers. Make sure each one is clearly visible. Please do not use permanent marker on items of frequent use, as it rubs off. It is fine on calculators and rubbers. You may choose to bring items you used in Year 5. Please ensure these are in good working order and without graffiti.

Spare Stationery Please bring all spare/extra stationery to school in an old pencil case or zip-lock bag. Students can then access their extra pencils and other stationery whenever needed. Please provide a suitable Art Shirt, well named.

Now everything is in place and ready for use. Created by Rory, Jordan and Mrs Jen
