Four Key Components of Delivering Government Subsidised Pre-accredited Training 1) Outreach / Engagement 2) Learner Support & Wellbeing 3) Andragogy 4) Pathways The A-Frame Triangle

Outcome Based Framework for Government Subsidised Pre-accredited Training What? Program that build skills and capabilities necessary to participate in accredited education and/or employment The focus is to develop the abilities of persons to engage in accredited education and/or employment. This may not occur through a single program alone. The program must demonstrate and provide evidence that there were an increase in skills and capabilities of the people who had engaged in the program.

Outcome Based Framework for Government Subsidised Pre-accredited Training Who? For people who are disadvantaged ‘Disadvantaged person’ is: A person who is currently unable to effectively participate in accredited education and/or employment due to educational, social or economic disadvantage. Also includes vulnerable workers who are struggling to maintain a job and at risk of unemployment due to a lack of confidence or limited skills and capabilities.

Outcome Based Framework for Government Subsidised Pre-accredited Training How? By delivering quality programs through a responsive Learn Local sector A responsive Learn Local sector means quality programs are developed and provided by appropriately experienced teachers to disadvantaged persons in an accessible manner. Quality programs are based on learner needs, learner aspirations, career direction and aligned to local skills and industry needs. Locally accessible programs are delivered at suitable times and in appropriate mode of delivery.
