Overview of the PDSystem from a Users Perspective Dr Greg Kelly and Dr Peter Nicholl

PDSystem Web-based tool – Staff, student and guest strands Enables students to reflect upon their learning and achievements Facilitates planning their own personal, educational and career development Records outcomes of the PDP process.

Within the PDSystem Students can: – Record Qualifications, Skills, Goals, Plans, Extra Curricular Activities – Create e-Portfolios and share these with others – See Academic Performance and create CV and online Journals Staff can: – Enables course teams to add course specific information and material – Staff can provide online feedback on items in a shared or submitted portfolio – Track student progress and use of the system
