Great Work So Far!!  Very busy first semester!  Senior Events = Monthly breakfasts, Treats, Photo Booth, Exam Goodie Bags  IICHS Fundraiser = 69% of our Annual Goal  Memberships = >100 Family and Staff memberships  School Store/Spirit Wear = Football/Basketball games, Store Open on Fridays during lunch, participated in Holiday Bazaar, and several New Items available!  Academic Achievement Recognition Programs – Recognized >1,000 students in the first semester!  Guest Speaker for Students and Staff = Mike Hall – GREAT feedback!  Teacher & Staff events = Thanksgiving Pie Drive, Holiday Luncheon, Monthly treats, Birthday surprises  Tutoring Services = PTSO supplements costs – available for all students.  Family Fun nights – Greco Fresh Grill, Brooklyn Pizza Monthly Shout-Out Program to recognize one parent volunteer and 1 community partner every month  First recipients of the Shout Out  Nadina Nero and Lynne Foreman – Hospitality Committee Co-Chairs  Bravo Cucina Italian Restaurant of Blakeney

PTSO Immediate Need! Executive Board:  Treasurer  Roles & Responsibilities include  Have custody of the funds of the association  Keep full account receipts and expenditures  Make disbursements  Present financial statement at every meeting of the organization  File required tax forms  Attend Monthly Meetings  30 min Executive Board Meeting  min PTSO Meeting ~~~Assistance from prior Treasurer until the end of this school year!!~~~ No prior PTSO Treasurer experience is necessary.

PTSO Open Positions 2016/2017  Executive Board:  President  Treasurer (possibly begin this school year)  Executive Committees:  Senior Events (Prior PTSO Committee Chair/Co-Chair experience, needed)  Spirit Wear/School Store (2-Co-Chairs?)  Fundraising

PTSO Open Positions 2016/2017 President  Set the agenda and preside at all meetings  30 Minute Executive Board Meeting per Month  90 Minute PTSO Board Meeting per month  Be a member ex-officio of all committees except the nominating committee  Coordinate the work of the officers and committees  Serve as an authorized signatory of all PTSO checks and the only authorized signatory of PTSO contracts  Review and approve by signature the reconciled bank statement from the treasurer on a monthly basis  Facilitate annual “Pass the Book” meeting for outgoing members to conduct knowledge transfer with incoming members  First point of contact to school administration for volunteer and donation requests

PTSO Open Positions 2016/2017  Executive Committees:  Senior Events (Co-Chairs?) – Coordination and oversight of all committee-run events and program for Seniors  Spirit Wear/School Store (Co-Chairs?) – Manages the procurement and sales of CHS Spiritwear and novelty items.  Fundraising/Corporate Partnerships – Promotes the financial needs of the PTSO to local businesses
