 Physical systems shape the earth’s surface › Volcanoes, Hurricanes, Glaciers.  Look at Communities of plants and animals, what they depend on to survive

 How people have shaped the world  Why people settled where they did and not other places  Movement of people, ideas, and goods

 Human/Environment Interactions shows how people and the environment they live in effect the way they live.  Ex. East Arkansas the delta land has farmers because of the land  Ex. Maine has many careers in sea fish
