TRAIN PREPARATION PROCEDURE TRAIN IS TURNED “ON” PROCEED TO DEPOT SUPERVISOR AND GET DAILY OBSERVATION REPORT FORM GO TO THE ASSIGNED 3-CAR TRAIN TURN OFF THE TRAIN YES CHECK AND CLOSE ALL BATTERY SWITCHES ON EACH CAR NO PLACE ALL DRIVER’S CAB AND HOSTLER IN NORMAL STATUS (Refer to Fig. 1A and 1B) COUPLED PROPERLY X PROCEED AND REPORT TO DEPOT SUPERVISOR NO A YES CHECK IF ALL CARS ARE COUPLED (MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL) DAILY OBSERVATION REPORT
