EMI test carried out in NIKHEF by Guido Visser and Hans Verkooijen CLBv2.2 with a PBv2.1 Three main hot spots found: kHz: Origin DC/DC (600 kHz switching) kHz: Origin DC/DC (800 kHz switching) MHz: Origin Clock probe Next Step: To use PBv2.3 To include the plate between the PB and CLB Full report in:

The bitslide thresholds on the WR switches of the on-shore station have been increased. The SPEC bitslide threshold has not been modified The CLB had already an increased bitslide threshold. The result of the test show that the CLB has improved (11 bad synchronization over 1200 attempts ). The SPEC has a similar percentage of bad resynchronization (124 /1200) due to the fact that the bitslide thresholds is still the default one (a low threshold value) The next step is: Increase even more the bitslide thresholds on the WR switches and the CLB and check that in 100 % of the cases the CLB synchronizes ok.
