Motion Speed (we call this velocity)

How fast is team NZ going? Team NZ has hit speeds of 40 knots which is 74.1 km h -1 (kilometres per hour) In an hour it would cover a distance of 74.1 km This is 20.6 m s -1 (metres per second) In one second the yacht covers a distance of 20.6 metres.
