SOCIAL TIME AT END OF CLASS For each 5 minutes of instructional time, the class can earn free social time at the end of class after everything is put away No disruptions: 1 minute Only 1 or 2 minor disruptions: 30 seconds Minor = calling out, off-task response, out of seat unnecessarily Any 1 major disruption: no time earned for that 5 minutes More than one major disruption: time subtracted Major disruption = anything that stops the flow of class or wastes others’ time, such as arguing, saying things to make others laugh or go yuck, not following directions when told to, continuing conversations/noises after teacher calls for attending skills, throwing things, etc.
