Unit 1: Brainstorming Possible Questions Does Madison College have classes on Phlebotomy? Does Madison College have resources for single mothers? What kind of schedule will be conducive to being a student and caring for a child?
Unit 2: Checking with Others Used SurveyMonkey and interviewed four staff members at Columbus High School. Does Madison College have the resources I need, as a single mother with special needs, to be a successful graduate in the Phlebotomy program?
Unit 3: Analyzing What Others Have to Say After review of the survey results, I made the following comment: “I liked getting positive feedback. It made me feel good.”
Unit 4: Preparing a Research Proposal …I am researching options for post-secondary schools because I am a single mother trying to support my child. I am currently a high school senior with an identified disability. I think that by going to college to get a degree as a phlebotomist I will have more opportunities and accomplishments in my life. I will be able to get a job that pays well, do something I enjoy and be able to support my child.
