Background  Started with selling movies in September  Original cost was 9.99 – (few dollars less than DVD)  Started only offering 75 titles, now claims over 1000  Offers playback on Mac, PC, iPod, and iPhones.

What’s Available?  Renting rather than buying ( 2.99 – 3.99)  HD DVD is also available (3.99 – 4.99)  Many changes in the coming weeks (more movies, and download rate)  itunes

Drawbacks  Download time (30 min)  Current selection limited  Quality, 640 x 480 pixilation -Introducing the HD DVD option as soon Apple TV is launched.  30 days to keep the rental, only 24 hrs. once you start the movie.

What do we think?  Strange prompts that say the movie status has changed.  Transferring to iPod and iPhone are good ideas.  Not for everyone, targeted for the person that wants a quick and easy way to get a movie.
