The Treaty of Versailles is the main cause of WWII. Without it, WWII probably would’ve never happened.

Borders were redrawn. Germany was blamed for the war, and was forced to pay other countries for their expenses. (Treaty of Versailles) Restrictions on military buildups were made. Inflation Adolf Hitler and the Nazis used the poor economy, and the treaty to take control in the 1930's.

1938 – Germany a total dictatorship under new Chancellor Adolf Hitler Mar Hitler had totally dropped the ideas of the Treaty of Versailles Oct The Axis Alliance is formed. Germany signs a treaty with Italy and Japan.

Mar Germany invades Austria Austria put up no resistance Britain and France took no action Sept World War II begins when Nazi Germany invades Poland. France and Britain declare war on Germany.
