The Failure of the Woman Gen 2-3 1) The Problem of Boredom. 2) The Problem of Resentment. 3) The Problem of Dissatisfaction. 4) The Problem of Authority Orientation.
1 Cor 7:3, “Let the husband fulfill his duty to his wife, and likewise also the wife to her husband.”
Three Divine rules designed to produce virtue in marriage: 1. Husbands love your wives, Eph 5: Wives obey your husbands, Col 3: Husbands and wives forgive each other as Christ forgave us, Eph 4:32. Three Divine rules designed to produce virtue in marriage: 1. Husbands love your wives, Eph 5: Wives obey your husbands, Col 3: Husbands and wives forgive each other as Christ forgave us, Eph 4:32.
Col 3:18, “Wives, obey your husbands, as is proper in the Lord.”
How can a wife obey her husband after she has seen his flaws, failures and weaknesses?
By honoring God, being obedient to His Word, submitting to the filling of God the Holy Spirit and obeying the divinely inspired Biblical principles inside of God’s Power System.
Take your eyes off of him and his flaws and instead be obedient to the Word of God.
It takes impersonal and unconditional love, to honor God and have a great marriage.
Unfortunately, many women are merely tolerating their weak husbands and have no respect for them.
Your respect is given to him not because he has earned it, but because God, in grace, has established in him the authority for your protection and happiness.
In Divine Rule #2, 3 things are required:

In Divine Rule #2, 3 things are required: 1) The wife respects her husband; 2) The wife obeys her husband; 3) The wife wins her husband through her behavior.
Col 3:17, “Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.”
Inside the marriage, respect must precede any Personal Love. It is far better to have a woman's respect, than her so-called love.
Prov 21:19, “Better to live in a desert than with a quarrelsome and ill-tempered wife.”
Woman are out of line who complain about their husbands and want their husbands to change, or who try to improve the relationship by getting him to initiate communication.
The woman should initiate communication via 1 Peter 3:1-6. Marriage is an initiation of two people. The woman is to win over the man by her behavior.
Prov 18:22, “He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the LORD.”
Prov 31:10-31, “An excellent wife, who can find? For her worth is far above jewels.”
Eph 5:33, “However, you also, each one of you individually, let him so love his wife as himself; and the wife, see to it that she respects her husband.”
1) No woman should ever marry a man she cannot respect.
2) To subordinate herself to her spouse, the wife must have:
2) To subordinate herself to her spouse, the wife must have: a) Personal love for God the Father, motivational virtue.
2) To subordinate herself to her spouse, the wife must have: a) Personal love for God the Father, motivational virtue. b) Impersonal love for all of mankind, functional virtue.
2) To subordinate herself to her spouse, the wife must have: a) Personal love for God the Father, motivational virtue. b) Impersonal love for all of mankind, functional virtue. c) Occupation with Christ, victory in virtue.
3) When the woman respects God’s design of authority, she responds positively to her husband.
4) It is only from respect that the woman is motivated to respond properly.
5) Where there is respect in the wife, there is leadership in the husband.
6) If the man does not gain the respect of the woman the marriage will never work.
7) The key to the marriage is more often than not the respect of the woman for the man.
8) Authority Orientation is based on respect; Personal Love is secondary.
9) There is no way an arrogant woman will ever respond to the authority of her husband, nor respect his virtue.
10) 3 dynamics for the wife's submission to her husband:
10) 3 dynamics for the wife's submission to her husband: a) Respect for the virtuous husband.
