Presentation transcript:

What I Can Do Myself Change all of the fluorescent light bulbs in my house to energy saving CFL light bulbs. Each CFL saves 30 dollars over its lifetime. It lasts ten times longer than a normal bulb. If every American changes to CFL’s to light more than 3 million homes for a year.

Continued… Get solar panels for my house. They are expensive at first but in time they pay for themselves. They will reduce your carbon footprint by at least 25 tons of carbon. Solar panel systems have a life of about 50 years at the least.

Continued… Carpooling A 2 person 60 Mile a day carpool saves you about $4, annually. It also reduces 1.5 million pounds of air pollution.

Steps I can Take At Work I can recycle more. Have al of the machines converted to energy star machines. Be better about shutting the lights off in the break room.
