Olive oil is the healthiest source of fat and can make you live longer How about living longer and healthier? By simply changing the type of oil or fat you use for cooking your daily meals, you could actually reduce of having heart attack by 40 percent. By switching to olive oil could avoid other diseases such as cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, and Alzheimer's disease.

Conclusion Olive oil has shown to make a difference in people’s health in the long run according to scientific research. By using olive oil instead of other sources of fat, one could lower the risk of having heart and cardiovascular diseases. Research also has shown that using olive oil in cooking regularly prevents certain kinds of cancers. Many people are becoming more health conscious and shifting toward healthy diets. While fat and cholesterol contribute or cause many of the diseases we have now days, using olive oil seems to be one of the measures that one can take to reduce or prevent those diseases. Some will still think that olive oil should be used as the main source of fat in human diet. Health advocates and nutritionists are steering people toward using olive oil. The question remains wither people are willing to adjust their life style and diet to reap the health benefits of olive oil.
