Abstract In 2008 President Geoffrey introduced the Live green program which called for environmentally conscious living. In light of this initiative, it was decided to actively assemble a wind turbine that would supply power to Coover hall and reduce our carbon footprint
Problem/Need Statement The main scope of our project is to design and implement an inverter circuit that includes battery protection and an interface that displays the parameters of our choosing. The parameters we have decided on are wind speed, power output of system, current output of turbine, and battery charge. We will purchase and erect an AIR-X wind turbine to connect to our circuit. We will make the system expandable to 3 turbines.
