»Ladybug didn’t have spots a long time ago. In fact, her shell was as rosy as a ripe tomato. One day that all changed and this is the Ladybug’s story...

One morning, a long time ago, Ladybug was happily flying here and there showing off her beautiful red coat.

When she passed butterfly, she said, “Wow Ladybug!! Your coat is so gorgeous!” Ladybug smiled and flew away.

When she saw spider, he said, “I wish I had a shell like yours!” Ladybug flew off, her face glowing.

Finally, Ladybug landed on a log. Caterpillar came by with a mouthful of blackberries.

Suddenly, a crow flew by. Caterpillar got scared and spit out the blackberries and they landed on Ladybug’s shell.

Ladybug got very angry. She yelled at Caterpillar and flew away, crying. “OH-NO! Sorry, Ladybug!” yelled Caterpillar.

Ladybug now loves her spots and is still a very popular bug with beautiful spots.
