BEARS

BROWN BEAR Bears are mammals. They live in the forests in different parts of the world. Their height is about 3 m. and their weight is from 725kg. To 1000kg. They have brown or white fur. Bears live from 25 to 40 years.

HUNTING. Bears are good hunters. They have got strong paws and teeth which help them to hunt. Bears hunt in the evening or at dawn. They eat fish, meat, fruit and nuts.

BEARS’ CUBS Bears give birth when they are 3-4 years old, but not every year. They can have from 1 to 5 cubs. Their weight is from 90 to 680 gr. Bears’ cubs stay with their mother for 18 months.

WHAT CAN THEY DO? They can climb the trees, dig the ground and hunt well. They have a good sense of smell, but their sight and hearing are worse.
