Mount Actuators  The actuators from Firgelli Automations came in Wednesday February 1.  They will be mounted on the underside of the driving console.

Mount Seat  The seat will be permanently mounted now that our client has come to sit in the go kart.  This will be done by implementing cross members along the frame so that the seat has something to bolt on to.  The pre-threaded holes on the underside of the seat will be used.

Steering  As stated before the steering will be controlled by our Dayton gear motor.  Jeff has taken the appropriate measurements so that the motor can be integrated into the steering column seamlessly.  This will be accomplished by mounting the motor at the same angle as the steering column and connecting it via a chain drive

Joystick and Microcontroller  Both the joystick and microcontroller have been ordered.  Joystick will be implemented into the side console of the seat.  A console will be mounted on the left arm of the chair to mimic our clients left hand drive wheel chair.  The arm will be able to flip up out of the way

Microcontroller  The microcontroller that was ordered is a Arduino Uno Board Rev3  It will allow us to run all of the necessary electronic parts that we have  Brahm has been working diligently on learning, programming and testing the c- code for our microcontroller

Future Work  Raymond: mounting the seat Hours worked: 17  Jeff: actuator mounting Hours worked:25  Brahm: microcontroller implementation Hours worked: 15
