Paget’s Disease Paget’s disease is a disorder of the normal bone remodeling process Signs and symptoms: bone pain, headaches, hip pain, pressure on the nerves

Osteomalacia Osteomalacia is a disease that weakens the bones and make them easier to break Signs and symptoms: weak bones, bone pain, muscle weakness, hypocalcaemia

Osteomyelitis Osteomyelitis is a bone infection caused by bacteria and other germs Signs and symptoms: bone pain, fever, chills, excessive sweating

Osteopenia Bone condition where one loses bone density which leads to bone weakening and increased risk of fracture Signs and symptoms: bone fragility but no painful symptoms

Rheumatoid Arthritis A type of arthritis that leads to inflammation of the joints and surrounding tissues Signs and Symptoms: morning stiffness, chest pain, mouth and eyes are dried out

Calve Perthes Disease Affects the hip area where the thigh bone and pelvis meet and commonly effects young boys Signs and Symptoms: limping, pain, or stiffness in hip, limited range of motion in the hip joint

Osteochondritis Dissecans Joint condition when a piece of cartilage comes loose from the end of the bone and mostly occurs in young men Signs and symptoms: pain, joint popping and locking, joint weakness, decrease range in motion, swelling and tenderness
