Story board Making Design and Technology You’ve designed your character. Now you need to draw it using a computer. The following stages are recommended: Draw and group the head together. Draw the torso and group it together. Draw an arm then group together. Copy and paste another arm. Draw a leg then group together. Copy and Paste the leg.

Story boardMaking Design and Technology Once you have drawn all the elements of your character (the arms/ legs etc) place all the components together To build your character.. The reason we do this is, it is then easier to animate your characters. You can move the arm or the leg without affecting anything else i.e. you character can then walk or dance with ease.

Story board Making Design and Technology Once you’ve drawn your character place it into your portfolio. That way you can open the character and then place it into your animation with ease. Select all your character then drag it into portfolio. Leave go of the mouse button and type the name of the character. It is then ready for when you need to use it. Close the window and go to animations.
