We’re in the Journey… TOGETHER! Acts 4:32-37
32 Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one said that any of his possessions was his own, but instead they held everything in common. 33 And with great power the apostles were giving testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was on all of them. Acts 4:32-33
34 For there was not a needy person among them, because all those who owned lands or houses sold them, brought the proceeds of the things that were sold, 35 and laid them at the apostles’ feet. This was then distributed to each person as anyone had a need. 36 Joseph, a Levite and a Cypriot by birth, whom the apostles named Barnabas, which is translated Son of Encouragement, Acts 4:34-36
37 sold a field he owned, brought the money, and laid it at the apostles’ feet. Acts 4:37
People were working together (32a) The key to understanding this is understanding the unity they possessed. The early church was of one heart and of one soul. How in the world can people become so unified? Gave their heart and soul to Jesus‘ Lordship. They were convinced of the mission of Christ.

They were working together financially (32b) The unity of the church resulted in the sharing of possessions. The unity of the church compelled people to sell their possessions in order to help others among the family of faith who were in need. The unity of the church shows their view of possessions.
They were working together evangelistically (32b) There was testimony of the resurrection. There was great grace on all of them.
