Rochester Tower December Training 1.Airspace Intruder Refresher Training. 2. Runway Incursion Prevention Item. 3. MBI: Weather- The Name of the Game.

Training Item #1 Review ROC Order B Procedures for handling controlled area intrusions at Rochester Tower. (Located in Roc Twr Orders & Notices binder in TRA & TWR)

1. Aircraft in Communication with Rochester Approach. A. Obtain call sign, type of aircraft, pilot name, and destination. B. Advise the pilot that he has violated Rochester class C airspace and a Pilot deviation may have occurred. Inform Sup/CIC. C. Sup/CIC call information to the RCC. D. Record on (daily log). E. Complete form , Pilot deviation. F. Obtain and submit Personnel Statements of those directly involved in identifying the violator.

2. Aircraft not in Communication with Rochester Approach. A. Initiate a track using call letters, YAV1, YAV2. Etc. Track until the aircraft lands in our airspace or leaves our jurisdiction. A manual handoff shall be completed with the appropriate facility. Advise Sup/CIC. B. Solicit pilot or tower reports to determine aircraft type and color. C. If aircraft lands in ROC airspace, contact that airport for information. D. If aircraft should leave our airspace., await forwarding of pertinent information from adjacent facility. E. If ID is made, Sup/CIC inform RCC.

F. Complete form , Pilot Deviation and Personnel Statements. G. Regardless of outcome, record information on Daily log.
