Palabras Negativas nunca- never tampoco- neither/ either nada- Nothing/ anything nadie- nobody/anybody

Frases Negativas **It is ok to use double negatives in Spanish. No voy a la playa nunca. Literal: I don’t go to the beach never.

No Negate a sentence with any verb, place no directly before… I don’t study much. No estudio mucho. I am not lazy. No soy perezosa.

Nunca To say never in a sentence, “nunca” can go directly before verb. I never eat hamburgers. Nunca como las hamburguesas. or no before verb and nunca at end of sent. I never eat hamburgers. No como las hamburguesas nunca.

Tampoco Same principle I don’t want to go either. No quiero ir tampoco. Tampoco quiero ir.

Nadie Same principle; except nadie directly after verb No hay nadie en casa. There isn’t anybody home. Nadie quiere venir. Nobody wants to come.

Nada Same principle: Nothing is easy. Nada es fácil. I don’t know anything. No sé nada.
