 Aim: What are nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs, and how are they used?  Get out your Do Now sheet and notebook. 1. Respond to the following using complete sentences.  When we talk about parts of speech, we are not necessarily talking about specific words, but rather, how those words are used. Some words can be used as many parts of speech.  Living  Verb – I am living in Brooklyn  Adjective – The living dead are coming to get me!  Noun – We make our living driving taxi cabs.
