Introducing… The AICA Scrip Program How does scrip work? 1. Great Lakes Scrip (GLS) purchases discounted scrip – gift cards/certificates in bulk from trusted retailers. 2. GLS sells the scrip to non-profit organizations, passing on much of the discount to them. 3. This discount becomes revenue for the school when AICA families and friends purchase these gift cards (scrip) for retailers where they make regular household purchases.

AICA Scrip Program… The Potential… The AICA Scrip Program has the potential to raise thousands of dollars a year to benefit the daily operations and scholarship programs of the school. For example, if 50 families purchased $500 of scrip per month to purchase groceries, AICA would profit $1,000. Add to that purchases of cards for other shopping, restaurants, online purchases – most of which carry higher revenue – and the school’s monthly profits could easily double. It’s also a great way for family and friends of AICA students, regardless of where they live, to support the school’s mission. ScripNow! is available to everyone because it is delivered via the Internet in the form of an “e-card”. We are not asking you to buy more….only to let the shopping that you already do benefit a mission that you believe in and want to support.

AICA Scrip Program… Types of Scrip… 1.Cards – These are plastic or paper gift cards/certificates. They are “physical” gift cards as opposed to electronic cards, also know as “e-cards”. These are available on a weekly basis through the AICA Scrip Program. They can be used at local retailers or online. 2.Reload – Once you have purchased a plastic gift card through the AICA Scrip Program, you can reload it. This adds funds to the balance on the card. This is an overnight transaction. 3.ScripNow! – These are electronic or “instant” gift cards that you receive within minutes of releasing your order. You can print them for use at local retailers, or they are particularly convenient when shopping online since you can “copy” and “paste” the gift card number directly into your retailer’s checkout payment option. This type of scrip is great for AICA supporters that do not live in the Portsmouth, RI area.

AICA Scrip Program… Getting Started… 1. Go to the ShopWithScrip web site at 2. Look for the green Family Sign Up box on the left side and click on “Create Account”. 3. Follow the registration instructions, being sure to use enrollment code 37248DEA17835 to direct the income from your purchase to AICA. 4. AICA only uses Presto Pay to receive payments. Cash or checks are not accepted. Funds will be electronically drafted from the bank account that you designate when you enroll. A convenience fee of $0.15 will be charged for each order.

1. You will see a message saying “You do not have a Presto-Pay account. Click here to create one.” Click on the link to create your Presto-Pay account. 2. Enter your Bank information including a routing number and account number. 3. After 2-3 days, your bank account will receive 2 small deposits from GLSC. 4. Sign in to your Shop with Scrip account and enter the amounts of the deposits. This will verify that the correct account is being used. Click “Next” to complete the enrollment process. 5. AICA Scrip Program… How to Shop… 1. AICA has a weekly order and delivery schedule. Currently, orders are released every Tuesday morning at 8 am EST for delivery by Friday morning of the same week. Individual orders can be made anytime before the Tuesday morning deadline. Scrip can be picked up at the school office during school hours – 8 am – 3 pm. 2. Sign in to your account at the Shop with Scrip web site – - look for the orange Member’s Login box on the left side of the home page Click on the “SHOP” tab of the toolbar to browse the types of retailers that participate in this program. 4. Select your retailer. Select the dollar amount of the card(s) you would like to purchase. Enter the number of cards you want to buy and click “Add to cart”.
