Objective Analyze minor characters in A Catcher in the Rye. Homework: Read chapters five and six. Answer questions for chapters 3 – 4 on the handout.

Review Questions from chapters 1 -2 With your learning partner, pair-share your answers. Discuss and develop a written paragraph answering the question below. Use quotes and direct evidence from the novel. What’s the purpose of Mr. Spencer’s request that Holden sees him prior to leaving Pencey Prep. Oral response and questioning – 10 points.
