ArcGIS Online Hosted Feature Service for City of Sacramento Current Projects

Web Mapping Application Web mapping application created to search for city projects. Web mapping application created to search for city projects. Information of project listed. Changes and edits made on ArcGIS.com map viewer can be seen immediately once map is saved by refreshing page on the web map application.

Adding New Features Step 1 – Start to edit. Step 2 – Select Polygon Feature to add. Step 3 – Add point feature to add. Step 4 – Enter the information about The project and any attach any documents.

Editing the Features Features can be edited, some examples: 1.Modify shape 2.Change the stage of development 3.Delete 4.Change the land use 5.Add documents or delete

Example of Edits Preselected Land Uses and Project Stages are listed and can be selected to make changes.

Additional Geoprocesses Desired Tried to create a geoprocessing tool to select specific development stages. Tool was unsuccessful.

CONCLUSION Project was successful in communicating what it was set out to do. Additional services desired in order to make searching for development projects easier. Learned how to manipulate ArcGIS Online in a successful manner and no longer intimidated by it. Take away a lot of knowledge that can help in future career endeavors.
