Modern requirements to state and municipal authorities: Information openness; interaction with citizens; transparency. ALAN-IT specializes in rendering services to public and municipal authorities. This case describes a project for the establishment of the Portal municipal authorities of the city of Yaroslavl.

About our Customer The Yaroslavl city hall is the local government, which employs currently about 1600 specialists. The PC Park: over 1895 PC clients over 107 servers There are 29 departments in the city government: 6 rayon administrations, 6 departments, 12 authorities, 3 bureaus, 2 committees, 2 municipal public institutions.

Situation The City Government faced the need for a modern and effective way of interaction with the citizens This mechanism has to enable supplying comprehensive and reliable information on the work of the local government ALAN-IT personnel, who have wide experience in creating such systems, were invited to implement the solution

Tasks Communication between the personnel of the city government; Resolving practical problems of communication between the city hall departments; Receiving information on the work of the city government; Receiving instructions on the interaction with governmental authorities; Communication between citizens and city hall; Receiving regulatory and reference information.

Solution To solve the problems, ALAN-IT proposed a comprehensive solution to improve information transparency of state and municipal authorities - Official portal of the city of Yaroslavl.

Solution To create a modern functional portal Mayor of Yaroslavl platform used Microsoft SharePoint 2013 There is collaboration tool that provides: Increase productivity; Centralized management and monitoring of the portal; Application integration; Cost reduction; Save time and effort.

Advantages Operational interaction between the citizens and executive and legislative authorities of the region; Increasing the awareness of the society on the activity of the state authorities and organizations; Reducing expenditures; Increasing effectiveness of interaction between various levels of state and municipal authorities; Increasing effectiveness of information monitoring and climate of opinion management; Increasing statistics validity; Spreading and implementing informational and telecommunication technologies to all the spheres of the life support of the region.

Advantages The costs of publication of materials to our solution was about to $ per year, after implementation of the cost amounted to about $ per year. Savings amounted to about $ per year. ROI was % taking into account the costs on the implementation and development of solutions.
