Physiotherapy’s future focus Empowering populations Maximising independence Transforming lives

“Rehabilitation is a good investment because it builds human capacity.” WCPT

Physiotherapy’s strengths Expertise in exercise and rehabilitation Building resilience Solution focused.

See the opportunities and take them Realise our potential as leaders Come of age as autonomous practitioners Use CSP support, materials, tools Make a difference for patients Nobody will do this for us

How to get there: Be flexible Connect, build, link, network Be forward thinking and innovative Always think/talk solutions Know how local decision makers think Use the evidence Show our impact through data collection

Be brave: Make sure those who should and can benefit access quality physiotherapy Don’t get buried in the detail Tell decision makers how physiotherapy is a cost-effective solution Tell everybody how Physiotherapy Works Work to assure the future of the profession Together we can do this!

What you can do now: Understand where you are Work with colleagues to get a clear view of the future Recognise how the CSP can support you Begin to think differently…... and to act differently.

Today is just the start... Ask yourself, if I were less afraid: > What could I do for patients? > Who could I be? Think about becoming a Pioneer Go away with at least one action Share today’s messages with your colleagues
