Presentation transcript:

 MERCURY IS THE CLOSEST AND FIRST PLANET TO THE SUN.  IT IS ORANGE IN COLOR.  IT IS THE HOTTEST PLANET IN THE WHOLE SOLAR SYSTEM.

VENUS IS THE SECOND PLANET TO THE SUN. IT HAS RINGS THAT ARE VERY FAINT.

 THE EARTH IS THE ONLY THAT HAS LIVING CREATURES ON IT.  THE EARTH HAS NO RINGS.  IT HAS MANY COUNTRIES IN IT.

 MARS IS JUST HALF THE SIZEOF THE EARTH.  MARS HAS TWO MOONS CALLED PHOBOS AND DEIBOS.  MARS HAS REDDISH DUST COVERING IT’S SURFACE.

 JUPITER HAS SIXTY-ONE MOONS ORBITING IT.  THE FOUR LARGEST MOONS ARE CALLED THE GALILEAN MOONS.  JUPITER HAS A FAINT RING, THAT WE CANNOT SEE FROM THE EARTH.

 SATURN IS THE SIXTH PLANET FROM THE SUN.  IT HAS GOT A RING.

URANUS IS TILTED OVER TO IT’S SIDE. IT’S RING DOES NOT GO SIDE TO SIDE, BUT IT GOES UP TO DOWN.

NEPTUNE IS THE EIGHTH PLANET TO THE SUN. IT ALSO HAS A RING.
