History of ParadigmShift Foundation The ParadigmShift Foundation was created to give financially disadvantaged people access to the inner workings of today’s technology. The pilot program entitled “The Tehuti Research Center” is designed to achieve that goal. The organization became incorporated in the State of Pennsylvania in It received its non-profit status in May of 2007.
History of Tehuti Research Center The idea of the Tehuti Research Center came about in 2004 when the founder read an article about a program in Alabama that taught children in high schools how to build a computer. The Tehuti Research Center aims to teach classes to children and adults how to deal with different aspects of technology. Unlike most computer training courses, these classes will give the participant in-depth knowledge of the subject at hand.
Mission Statement The mission of the Tehuti Research Center is to create a strong and enduring technical background for all participants involved so that each person will have a greater chance of success in future endeavors as well as a broader choice of careers. It’s mission is also to close the digital gap between those who have and those who have-not. Tehuti Research Center classes will give participants practical skills to apply in today’s job market and the ability to further their careers in IT such as becoming certified professionals.
Mission Statement Continued... The goal of the Tehuti Research Center is not to just present computer training courses to the public, but to also become a place for those who do not have access to computers to come and gain access to the latest technology. To make sure that this is possible, the classes will be offered at no cost. ParadigmShift wants to make sure that many minds, both young and old can be reached. The Tehuti Research Center will also serve as a research lab for those who have completed some or all of the courses to apply their skills to real world situations.
Founder’s Bio Spencer Campbell, who currently serves as the president, founded ParadigmShift Foundation Incorporated. Spencer works as a systems engineer for NetEconomist Inc in Lansdale, PA. Campbell has been working with computers since 1998 when he started a website with his cousin to compliment his record company he was running at the time. Since then Campbell has gone on to teach himself programming, system administration, and database administration along with a host of other skills.
Founder's Bio Continued... Campbell has become a Microsoft Certified Professional, a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator, and a Microsoft Certified Database Administrator and is currently studying to become a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. Campbell also has an A+ certification. He plans on obtaining many more certifications in his field simply because he loves learning.
Classes & Program Descriptions The Tehuti Research center will offer several different classes. Tentative classes the center will offer are the following: Web Design – Design your own website Advanced Web Design – Enhance your website with tools. Build A PC – Build A Computer Networks – Build A Network How To Program – Explore Programming. Basic Computer Skills – Learn how the computer works. Microsoft Office Suite – Learn MS Office. Each Class will be 1 hour and 30 minutes. There will be 24 classes to complete the course. Classes will be held 2 – 3 times a week. Campbell will be the instructor in all of the previously mentioned classes.
