What is a Symbol?

Symbol Any material component, including pictures, signs, or flags, that has significance within a culture What are some symbols of Canada? What about other cultural symbols?

What is slang?

Slang A unique form of vocabulary that is different from the formally accepted norm

Slang What are some common slang words? What are some slang words that you use, but your parents don’t likely understand? Can you come up with any examples of outdated slang (i.e. from your parents’ or grandparents’ generation)? What about slang from other cultures?
