Adaptations means to adapt to your environment

when your born you get something from your parents example like the color of your eyes or shortness or tallness

Camouflage Camouflage helps animals hide example rabbit a in winter there fur is white so they blend in with the snow so they don’t get spotted Migration Migration is when a person or animal moves from place to place Hibernation Hibernation means when a animal sleeps all winter example a bear eats and stores food for the winter then they sleep until fall Mimicry Mimicry means animals tend to blend and change color to there surroundings

Genetics is the studies of heredity Heredity is the passing on to off spring

Example a dogs inherited traits would be they have 4 legs they have ears and a nose

Example the cat species, every cat does not roll over every cat does not have the same pattern

Fossils are things that give us information from the past

My animal is the dolphin I picketed this animal because I think dolphins are gentle and they can help people

Example dolphins live in the ocean.its environment is other things like coral sharks and other fish

Inherited traits for dolphins. they all have tails they all have a blow hole they all have eyes they all have fins

Structure for example is dolphins have fins Function is the dolphin using fins to swim

Fun facts Did you know that a dolphins tail has to go up and down not side to side if it goes side to side they can die. Did you know dolphins can live up to 50 to 60 years Did you know that dolphins can be up to 12 feet long
