1. Submit to God (James 4:7). 2. Resist the devil (1 Corinthians 10:13). 3. Lay up the word of God in your heart (Psalms 119:11). 4. Do not provide for the flesh (Romans 13:14). 5. Watch and pray (Matthew 26:41). 6. Cultivate proper relationships (1 Corinthians 15:33). 7. Resolve to win (Daniel 1:8).
