2016 Registration Process 1.Registration will be done ONLINE through HAC 2.Wildcat Showcase 2/18 6pm-7pm 3.Q&A with counselors 2/18 7pm-7:30pm 4.6 th to 7 th grade registration CTI February 22 nd -26th 5.Online HAC closes March 4th 6.After Spring Break Athletic Packets available online and will need to be completed by June 3rd. 7.During April, Registration Verification Forms will be handed out. Any changes must be submitted in writing by May 2nd.
SELECTING 7 TH GRADE CLASSES…WHAT’S REQUIRED We have an 8 period day. We schedule for 7 classes because all students get a CAT class (CAT=Advisory class) 2 Periods English Language Arts (Reading and Writing) 1 Period of Math 1 Period of Science 1 Period of Social Studies Full Year Elective (Band, Choir, AVID, PALS, Art 1, Theatre 1, Partner Art) And/Or 1 Period of Athletics, Competitive Tennis, Non-Completive Tennis or PE And/Or 2 Semester (half year) classes (Speech, Creative Writing, Conversational Spanish, Exploring Careers, Energy Environment & Flight HS Credit, Touch System Data Entry online HS Credit) **Math-Quest and/or Reading -Styles Intervention class will be added to the students schedule if they do not meet the passing standard on the corresponding STAAR Exam.**
1. 2.Register online on HAC under course requests. 3.If you do not have a computer, you can use the library. 4.Online Registration will close on March 4 th at the end of the day. 5.If you change your mind, you have until May 2 nd to submit a course request change in writing to the counseling office.
