A good governing body Do you have the right size, right people with the right skills? Do you work effectively? Do you have the right number of committees who share the workload, make decisions and report back? Do you have a professional clerk who will offer advice and guidance Do you have a good chair who provides strong effective leadership and help builds a team? Do you receive concise information which allows the you to hold the school to account? Do you monitor and evaluate robustly? Do you engage in personal development to keep up to date?
