God’s Plan For Leadership in the Local Church

Leadership Is Needed “In those days there was no king in Israel; everyone did what was right in his own eyes” (Judges 21:25). “But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd” (Matt. 9:36).

God Ordained Institutions 1.Home 2.Civic Government 3.Church husbands/parents (Eph. 5:22-24, 6:1) governing authorities (Rom. 13:1-7) Christ (Eph. 1:22-23, 5:22-24)

The Church Universal – all of the saved united into one spiritual body with Christ as the head. – Has no earthly organization or work. Local – all of the saved in a given physical location. – Has a recognized membership, organization, and a work to accomplish.
